The Reya Network, developed by Reya Labs and supported by a team of DeFi pioneers, was purpose-built to address the unique challenges of DeFi trading at scale. Optimized specifically for trading, this Layer 2 blockchain enhances liquidity through a novel passive liquidity pool mechanism, enabling shared liquidity across all exchanges in its ecosystem. Reya Network also offers advanced capital efficiency by embedding margin engine logic directly into the network, allowing users to manage a single margin account across multiple exchanges. With its lightning-fast transaction speeds, zero gas fees, and a first-in-first-out (FIFO) execution model, Reya Network provides a seamless and high-performance trading experience
Throughout this guide, we will assume that you are using the Metamask wallet since it is the one most people use, the process of setting up a wallet should be very similar regardless of the wallet you choose
The first step is to open Metamask and select the network icon dropdown menu
When the pop-up appears, click Add Network
The Add a network page will open. Add the following details:
Once you're finished, click Save
You are now connected to the Reya chain
Tokens can be bridged to Reya using the official Reya bridge.
You will need a fraction of ETH to pay for bridging fees from any supported chain to Reya
wETH from Socket is used as the main asset in the liquidity pools
Gas on the Reya chain is paid in ETH - therefore, we recommend bridging it as the first token so you can process transactions
Visit the Reya Bridge and connect your wallet. You will see the screen below:
2. Input the amount of w/ETH (or any other token) you want to transfer to Reya, trigger the Approve token and then Bridge
4. The transaction will appear as pending in the top right corner of the page
The bridging transfer should take approximately 15 minutes, but it may take longer during periods of high traffic
