# Adding tokens to the wallet interface

In order for tokens to appear in the wallet interface, they need to be manually added. Tokens that have not been imported will still be received by your wallet, but they won't show up natively.

1. The project's official website will provide you with the contract address. Additionally, you can find popular token contract addresses such as USDC, USDT, wBTC and etc. on <https://arbiscan.io/>&#x20;

*(Fraudsters create fake contracts that you should always be aware of, always verify the address and source of the contract)*

* Once you obtain the token address tap on <mark style="color:yellow;">Import tokens</mark>

&#x20;2\. Once you paste in the contract address of the token, MetaMask should fill out the remaining details for you. Manually add them if they aren't already there.

When you are finished, tap <mark style="color:yellow;">Add Custom Token</mark>

3\. The balance of the token you just added will now appear in your wallet

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.camelot.exchange/get-started/arbitrum-guide/adding-tokens-to-the-wallet-interface.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
