# Swap tokens

1. Select the [desired swap mode](/get-started/castle-tutorials/swapping-explained.md)
2. Select the token you'd like to swap, then type the amount
3. Select the token you would like to receive
4. Click on <mark style="color:yellow;">Swap</mark>

5. On the window that appears, click on <mark style="color:yellow;">Swap</mark>

6. Click <mark style="color:yellow;">confirm</mark> when the wallet confirmation window appears

<mark style="color:red;">If it's your first time transacting a token, your wallet will ask for approval before proceeding</mark>
